When You Held My Little Hand..🤝

My life has been beautiful since the day I was born,

Because you were the first one to hold me early morn.

I still remember how you held my hand

and said, that oh my girl, understand,

Life will be difficult all along the way

You just got to be careful about what you wish and pray.

I said I wanted a doll, but he desired something momentous

I wondered what struck him, for it all seemed suspicious.

No doubt he bought me one,

But later asked how far I could run?

If I could have ever made, with it, a difference,

And be satisfied with it with no repentance.

It left me pondering upon the legitimacy of what he just questioned

And I realised there was something much more in life which made me enlivened.

And as I grew, I understood, that excitement was nothing but what I do in life

It was all about goals and success, and how much I wished to strive.

He supported me every time when he was needed,

He became my pillar of strength whenever I was isolated.

And as I think more, few years hence, when I’ll have to go away

And there will be this time when, he asks me with whom I would like to stay,

I guess, I’ll say that I never wish to go farther,

Because you’re a man who’s loved the most by his daughter,

And he remains my life, to which he’s adding more colours
Because a father remains a father, And I don’t care about the others.

There’s No One In This World, Except You

There’s no one in this world, Except you, Who knows what you want, What you need, What you feel, And what’s gonna make it all better. I guess you do it wrong, When you let it all out; Everyone has their own sufferings, Then why would they care, For you, And for who you are. When we took birth, we knew no one, and it felt like we were lonely. As we grew, we started to know everyone, and we felt that there are so many people who make our life brighter. And as we matured, we got to know who actually makes it the brightest. That’s the only one person in our life who’s the most important . Whether it’s our mom, our dad, our siblings, our best friends, or anyone else. And that person seems to be the only one who is irreplaceable. This person makes us smile, helps us, cares for us, understands us, supports us, and most importantly he keeps us happy all the time. All of us live behind a mask. There is a true us, that is even hidden from ourselves. But in a world with a population of 7 billion, t hey seem to be the only person who can bring out the real us . We are so honest to them and they are so honest to us, that a bond of deep trust is created.
